Lisa is a marketing and communications consultant, who lived and worked in London for many years. At the age of 39, after deciding that there must be more to life than the grind of the city, she packed her bags and brought a one-way plane ticket to Norway to work for a startup.

It was in Oslo, that she met her partner, brought a cabin style house by the sea and got their much cherished dog. It is not quite the Hallmark Holiday film ending, she continues to navigate the challenges of being an ex-pat in her 40s and finding her place in a new country, which is why she loves talking to Sarah and trading stories.

Sarah is a writer, psychology graduate and ex-boxer, on the cusp of 40, who loves to talk! However, having grown up between a small village in Yorkshire and a sheep farm in the Western Australian outback her accent has a mind of its own.

 

She currently splits her time between the UK, Australia and Cape Town and is obsessed with her cat Ophelia.
